Building For 2050
Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy
In 2019 the committee on climate change recommended 100% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050 which was backed by parliament.
As a direct response 'Building for 2050' a nationwide research project was launched by UK Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with the aim to help housebuilders meet the challenge of delivering low cost, low carbon housing.
We have been working with BEIS, AECOM and architectural firm Thomas Pollard Edwards to communicate the aims of the project and deliver the final research findings to the housebuilding industry and wider public.
